Andre Ayew Powers Ghana To Quarter Final

Ghana’s Black Stars have qualified to the quarter final of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after beating Bafana Bafana of South Africa 2-1 in the last group match.

The South Africans scored first in the first half but a great comeback and a determination from the Ghanaians got them the victory.

For the first time, defender John Boye scored Ghana’s equalizer in the 73rd minute before Andre Dede Ayew scored 10 minutes later.

By this victory, Ghana has topped Group C with 6 points, while Algeria beat Senegal by 2-0 and came second on the log. Senegal and bottom placed South Africa in the group.
