Accra, Ghana//-Developing and marketing a product are like left and right feet. They both have to work for the product to succeed, according to Ronald Ron Popeil, an American inventor and marketing personality, best known for his direct response marketing company, Ronco.
It appeared that Mr Popeil had Woodeck Company Ltd, a leading Ghanaian manufacturer and assembler of quality home and office furniture and supplier and installer of quality furniture accessories in mind when he made the above short and concise aphorism some decades ago.
The company recently opened its ultramodern factory and showroom at Spintex Road in Accra to bring its wood products to the doorsteps of the people.
The factory which also serves as the company’s head office is located off Spintex Road behind Coca Cola (KICC), while the furniture showroom is located at the Manet junction opposite Frimps Oil fueling station.
Indeed, Ghanaian entrepreneur Noble Mensah Fiagbenu stood against all odds to build the Woodeck Company Ltd, which most industry watchers say is one of the fastest growing furniture companies in the country.
Today, he is the Managing Director of the company which he started in a small office with small staff. Started some two decades ago, he aims at providing highly customer-centric home and office furniture and other products and services with excellent relationship building skills to customers.
The company succeeded because he served the needs of the people by providing with bespoke home and office furniture and other products and services for their needs.
Mr Fiagbenu: “We aim to inspire customers and potential customers with our state-of-the-art home and office furniture that compliment their lifestyles and environments”.
According to him, the company’s high quality imported and local materials blend expertise with the latest global trends in home and office furniture designs produced exceptional results for all customers’ needs at affordable prices.

From a very humble beginning, Woodeck Company Ltd has grown by leaps and bounds and become one of the leading companies in Ghana, with staff strength of over 50. Several indirect jobs are also created by the company.
Mr Fiagbenu guided the way and did it with skill, style and high passion and dexterity. He had the right products and services at the right time – which translated into high demand on a mass market scale.
