UBA Ghana Boosts Health of Staff, Holds Jogging to Bond Games

Accra, Ghana, March 26, 2019//-Staff of the United Bank for Africa (Ghana) Limited began their quarterly ‘jogging to bond’ exercise to boost their health and strengthen relationships.

The exercise themed: ‘UBA Mini Olympics’ was held at the Accra Academy with the presence of 19 business offices of the bank in Accra.

Prior to the games, staff of the bank embarked on a jogging exercise through some principal streets of Accra Academy.

The event witnessed a facelift as it featured Pill Pharmaceuticals who took staff through various health screenings which included blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar testing, nutrition and interpretation and many others.

The atmosphere was brimmed with lots of fun when staff were taken through some salsa drills by some professional salsa dancers.

Before the games, the staff led by the Managing Director, Isong Udom were taken through aerobatics as they warmed up for the games.

Staff of the bank were divided into two teams (Abiola rangers, Isong United) as they competed in various sporting disciplines, including tennis, football, volley ball and other board games.

Addressing the staff before the games, Mr Udom used the privilege to advise staff to continue the hard work adding that with hard work the jogging to bond would keep on improving.

The health practitioners from Pill Pharmaceuticals also advised staff to inculcate good eating habit, regular workout and to get enough rest as it will improve their health.

The bank also used the opportunity to honour some of its hardworking staff.
The fun games were simultaneously organised in all regions of the country where UBA operates.
