Accra, Ghana, November 12, 2019//-The Founder and chairperson of Tigui Holdings, Chief Tiguidanke Camara Embaló, on her official visit to Ghana as a member of the 15 UNDP influencer’s, visited the ongoing six days women empowerment program to help women to be skillful in their own way of business.
She used the opportunity to brief the press on her motive visiting the program.
Mrs. Tiguidanke Camara Embalo emphasized that, act of seeking foreign aid must be a thing of the past in African culture adding that, Africa heads of state must shy away from going to the western world for aid in this era, hence calling on the rest of the African countries to emulate Ghana beyond aid policy.
According to the UNDP influencer, Africa can take bold step of reaching out a routine aid through the young generation by training them to develop more entrepreneurship skills to secure their future livelihood.
Mrs. Tiguidanke Camara Embalo was speaking at a six day skills development training program to empower women, under the auspices of the deputy minister for trade and industries at Baatsona in the Tema west Constituency.
“Skills development programs must be priority to every African woman to make a living out of it and add value to the local content” Mrs Tiguidanke stated.
The host of the skills development training program who is Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah, urged the youth not to limit their future on a white colour jobs for survival but rather venture into vocational and technical skills training which the government of Ghana has refaced the NVTI educational system to turn around the country’s economy.
