Accra, Ghana, December 2, 2018//-Ghanaian top model Ms Prisca Abah has been adjudged the 2018 Woman Model of the Year at the just ended maiden Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) held in Accra on November 30, 2018.
She beat the like of Araba Sey, Belinda Baidoo, Chantel Dapaah, Nana Afua Antwi, Nana Akua Addo and Vica Michaels to pick home the prestigious award.
The event honoured Ghanaian women who have impacted the growth of the country in areas such as politics, health, education, sports and showbiz.
Receiving the award, the pretty Ms Abah said: “This award means so much to me for all that it stands for.
It’s amazing to have a night to celebrate inspiring and influential women but to be actually nominated and to win is both humbling and uplifting”.
She continued: “This award is a big step towards my dream of becoming an ambassador within the fashion industry showcasing what we have to offer across the globe whilst empowering women to be the best they can be”.
Ms Abah thanked Almighty God and the organizers of the awards for the honour done her, saying: “Without a doubt, all that I am and all that I’m destined to be is because of God so this award is dedicated to Him first and foremost”.
A big massive thank you to all who have believed in and supported me so far. The best is yet to come! She added.
In all, other individuals picked awards in the 23 categories of the GOWA 2018 including Outstanding Woman of the Year, Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur, Outstanding Woman Actress, Outstanding Woman in Music, Outstanding Woman in Politics as well as Outstanding Woman in Sports.

Ms Abah also acquired a few acting skills to her career and has had the chance to work with African Screen legend, Yvonne Nelson on her movie titled – “In April”.
She also did a commercial with Bismark the joke for Storm energy drink, as well as ‘New Life Cream.’
Ms Abah was granted a diplomatic certificate from World Academy of Human science as a representing spokesperson in Ghana.
