Ghana: UMB Bank Board Confirms CEO’s Resignation

Accra, Ghana, February 2, 2019//-The Board of UMB Bank (UMB) has confirmed the resignation of the bank’s CEO, John Awuah in a short press release.

The board did not state why Mr Awuah left the bank which met the Bank of Ghana minimum capital requirement recently.

According to release issued by the company secretary, after four successful years of dedication and commitment to the growth of UMB, Mr Awuah has moved on per the Press Release issued on 1st February 2019.

“Any other information contrary to the Press Release is false and must be disregarded”, the press release, stated.
