Accra, Ghana, November 3, 2020//-Senior Manager for Corporate Communications at MTN Ghana, Mrs Georgina Asare Fiagbenu is set to launch her maiden book titled- ‘The Wish List’ on November 5, 2020 at the Accra City Hotel.
The book is relevant for the young students trying to find their way in life. It is also vital for the young professional building the foundations of their career, and for the middle age executive seeking fresh perspectives on the way forward for themselves.
In general, the book contains some of the solutions to challenges faced by many Ghanaians and beyond.
Mrs Fiagbenu is not new to writing. She has been writing on different issues affecting the lives of Ghanaians.
Commenting on her writing prowess, Mrs Fiagbenu said she was in secondary school form four when her English teacher asked her to consider writing a book.
Mr Agyiri said, “You a good writer. You are a good story teller. You have to start writing”. I smiled. I listened but didn’t take any action.
So many years later I met people who encouraged me to start a column. It took me a while but I eventually did. Then I thought about a book. I’m happy that it is now completed”, she said.
“Great things take time but I’m excited to have fulfilled my dream. I encourage you to pursue yours. It may take a long time but it will surely happen”.
The book is published by Buabeng Books.
