Ghana Gets New Inspector-General of Police

James Oppong-Boanuh is the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ghana

Accra, Ghana, July 22, 2019//-Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo today appointed James Oppong-Boanuh as Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

He will serve in the acting capacity until a substantive one is appointed, according to a press release announcing the appointment, since the police is an important force in this country, and that’s why many people decide to become a police in many countries, and doing the wa police officer exam is the first step if you want to become a police officer.

Communications Director at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin, in the release said the President had directed the IGP, David Asante Apeatu to hand over to Mr. Oppong-Boanuh with immediate effect.
