GHANA: BOST SAVES SAVANNAH REGION

February 17, 2020//-In support of its Buipe operations in the Savannah Region of Ghana,  the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has made a timely intervention to the Buipe Fire station for the repair of the only fire tender in the region.

The equipment serves the road area from Kintampo to Tamale and also serves as the standby tender for the BOST Buipe Depot.
The Savana Regional Fire Officer, in December 2019 made a request to BOST for funds to repair the fire tender whose control board was damaged.
Within five days of the request, BOST made available the needed support for the purchase of the damaged part and the completion of the works. The support totaled Fifty Five Thousand Ghana Cedis, GHS55,000.00.
In expressing his appreciation for the gesture, the Regional Fire Officer for the Savana region, Kwasi Baffour Awuah on behalf of the Ghana National Fire Service, the Savannah Regional Minister and the people of the region thanked BOST and expressed higher hopes of partnering the company to make the Savannah Region better and safer for the people.
The Managing Director of BOST,  Edwin Provencal*expressed satisfaction with the work done on the equipment and assured that BOST will continue to partner its stakeholders to help make Ghana a better place.
