Community Focus Foundation Ghana Calls on Gov’t to Suspend the Comprehensive Sexual Education Policy

Minister of Education, Ghana, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh

Accra, Ghana, October 1, 2019//-Community Focus Foundation Ghana (CFF-GH) has called on government to take action and suspend the implementation of the controversial Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) at the pre-schools level next year.

The NGO which added its voice to the ongoing national debate on the introduction of policy said the country would jeopardize the future of its children if the CSE policy is introduced.

The unilateral decision taken by the Ministry of Education (MoE) to introduce sexual education to children around four years is not only reckless and evil but, a wicked agenda designed to introduce LGBT to break the moral fabric of the Ghanaian society.

“We condemn in no uncertain terms the entrenched position taken by the Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service on Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) policy in pre-schools in Ghana”, according to a statement issued by the Executive Director of CFF-GH, Richard Kasu.

“We are by this statement calling on the sector Minister and the Director General of GES to resign their respective positions  immediately to safe the image of the troubled-riddled Ministry from further embarrassments because the mishaps are becoming one too many at MoE”.

The statement therefore called on government to take action and suspend the implementation of the said policy in the best interest of our great nation, Ghana.
