Buhari’s Wife Urges Women to Pray for Nigeria’s Leaders

August 8, 2018//-Aisha Buhari , wife of the President, on Tuesday urged Nigerian women to fervently and ceaselessly pray for the nation’s leaders to rule the country with the fear of God.

The president’s wife, who was represented by wife of the Vice President, Dr Dolapo Osinbajo, stated this during the valedictory Imo women’s August meeting held in Owerri, the Imo State capital, which had the theme, ‘Sharing Our Common Cultural Values’, hosted by wife of the governor of the State, Nkechi Okorocha.

Mrs Osinbajo, who used the opportunity to pray for the future of Nigerian children, maintained that women as mothers, should be the vessel of transformation and reconciliation.

She described the meeting, which was attended by the wives of the governors of Oyo, Cross River, Delta, Edo, and Enugu states, as most appropriate, advising women  to always complement the efforts of their husbands in Nation building.

In her address earlier, wife of the governor and founder of the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative (WODDI), Mrs Nkechi Rochas Okorocha, disclosed more than 1,000 people had acquired different skills from her Nneoma Skills Acquisition Centres at Orlu, Owerri and Okigwe respectively.
