Accra, Ghana, November 8, 2018//-The Bank of Ghana (BoG) today warned the general public that six financial entities operating in the country have not been granted licence to carry out deposit taking activities in Ghana.
These six entities are-Global Coin Community Help International Limited (G.C.C.H), Wealth Drive Ghana Limited (WDG), Devonshire Place Capital Ghana Limited, TCL Markets Ghana Limited, FX-Crypto Traders, and Sonsis Susu Services.
This is contained in a notice issued and signed by the Secretary of Bank of Ghana, Mrs Frances Van-Hein Sackey.
“Hence, anyone who does business with these entities does so at his or her own risk and the Bank of Ghana will not be liable for the refund of any deposit lost by a depositor”, the notice stated.
