Abuja, Nigeria, April 27, 2020/ –Nigeria has recorded 91 new cases of COVID-19 in 16 of its states, bringing the total cases of the deadly disease to 1,273 in the Africa’s most populous country.
The affected states and number of cases are-

6-Taraba
5-Kaduna
5-Gombe
3-Ondo
3-FCT
3-Edo
3-Oyo
3-Rivers
3-Bauchi
2-Osun
1-Akwa Ibom
1-Bayelsa
1-Ebonyi
1-Kebbi
The country also discharged 239 patients who had contracted the infectious virus. However it claimed 40 lives, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
