Accra , July 19, 2017 – Puma Energy, the global integrated midstream and downstream energy company, has been adjudged as the Best-Priced Oil Marketing Company of 2016 by the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC Ghana).

In a short ceremony at the Puma Energy Ghana head office, Mr. Myles Bouvier-Baird, the Managing Director of Puma Energy in Ghana expressed his gratitude for the recognition and highlighted Puma Energy’s focus on ensuring fair prices that motorists can enjoy.

“Puma Energy is honoured to have received this award as it recognises our efforts to ensure that we deliver high quality fuel at very competitive prices. We are passionate about ensuring Ghanaian motorists have access both top quality fuel along with a top quality re-fuelling experience in all of our filling stations, but always at our consistently low prices. ”

Mr Bouvier-Baird continued, “With our current price campaign, Yenkor Nkoaa, we have simply taken it a step further. “Less Cash, More Quality Fuel” is our value proposition, but with the promotion we have added giveaways at our various stations across the country.

So, if consumers are lucky on a given day, the giveaway train might be at their station! “All this is to say that we are determined to give all motorists real value for money. Thank you COPEC Ghana for the acknowledgement,” he stated.

For his part, the Executive Secretary of COPEC Ghana, Duncan Amoah applauded the fast-growing OMC for rewarding customers with such good prices. “COPEC Ghana is awarding the OMCs who have performed impressively during the year 2016, and we are glad to present Puma Energy Ghana with this award.

This is very significant, as it is the ordinary everyday consumer who essentially said that you deserve it. All we ask is that you continue with your great prices and do even better in the coming days,” said Mr. Amoah.
