Nigeria’s Super Eagles beat Argentina 4-2 in a friendly match in October

December 1, 2017//-Three-time African champions Nigeria have been drawn in the same group as 2014 World Cup losing finalists Argentina for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in an event held in Russia on Friday.

The two sides will lock horns in the final Group D encounter. A recent friendly between the two ended in a 4-2 win for the African side, though many believed the scoreline would have been different if the South Americans had their talisman Lionel Messi. The draw conducted at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow also saw debutants Iceland and Croatia being drawn in the group.
