How SV-NED Is Driving Tech, Economic Development In Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria, April 20, 2018//– Technology is the tool that drives economic and other forms of development in any economy. It is also used to make social advancement.

It was the realisation of this that led Mrs. Temitope Ajayi to establish SV-NED Inc., a company that is dedicated to facilitating the use of Silicon Valley technologies and values in Nigeria.

Ajayi, who is a member of the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, told DAILY INDEPENDENT that the aim of her company is to facilitate programmes that would improve Nigeria’s credibility with foreign investors globally starting with Silicon Valley business hubs.

According to her, “SV-NED Inc. facilitates the creation of business opportunities designed for Silicon Valley technology companies to bring their businesses into Nigeria. SV-NED Inc. is committed to creating economic growth that will take Nigeria from a developing country to an emerging market.”

She told DAILY INDEPENDENT that SV-NED Inc. is taking the initiative to establish bilateral economic relationship between Silicon Valley and Nigeria, adding that the company will design and develop data centres for managing performance metrics for establishing credibility efforts among trading partners.

Ajayi said that progrmmes were designed to reduce dependency on oil explorations, and increase profitability in technology and human capital.

The serial entrepreneur stated that SV-NED Inc. overall objectives are designed to direct capital outputs to encourage job creation for millions of Nigerian youths that live in extreme poverty to join the job market, which would in turn improve their daily lives.

According to her, SV-NED Inc. will identify Silicon Valley technology companies who are interested and are able to hire Nigerian college graduates in engineering, computer science and information technology utilizing the H1-b visa programme.

She said that SV-NED Inc. would develop infrastructure for Nigerian-based call centres to work for tech firms in Silicon Valley in the areas of customer service and technical support needs and more.

“SV-NED Inc. is taking the initiative to establish the first bilateral economic relationship between Silicon Valley and Nigeria.

“SV-NED Inc. will design and develop data centres for managing performance metrics for establishing credibility efforts amongst trading partners,” she said.

She said SV-NED would create opportunities for Nigerian companies to do business with American companies, especially in the information technology sector.

The chief executive officer of SV-NED said that her company would create financial and banking relationships that would create jobs and prosperity for Nigerian companies and individuals.

She stated that her company will support and economic growth in agriculture and natural resources in the nation of Nigerian through technology and finance.

The company is currently holding the second SV-NED immersion progrmme in Lagos where professors and engineers from the United States of America are teaching Nigerian youths how do write business plans, start, manage and grow their businesses.

She told DAILY INDEPENDENT that she is being driven by passion to do what she is doing, adding that she is using her funds to facilitate the development of Nigeria and her youth.
