Ghana’s Vice President on Sick Break

Accra, January 19, 2018//-Ghana’s  Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has taken ill and undergoing medical observation, government spoken said.

According to a statement from the Flagstaff House and signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, said the Vice President has been attended to by his doctors and being monitored.

It further added updates on the health situation of the vice president would be duly communicated.

The statement was not forthcoming with the cause of the ailment.

VICE PRESIDENT UNDER MEDICAL OBSERVATION

The Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the early hours of Friday, 19th January, 2018, reported feeling unwell. He was attended to by his doctors, and is currently undergoing medical tests and observation. Any further information will be duly communicated.
