Africa Still Lags Globally in Electricity Consumption

Only 35 percent of people in Africa have access to electricity, well below the 78 percent in South Asia, the region with the second-lowest level of access, according to World Bank’s Linking Up: Public-Private Partnerships in Power Transmission in Africa report.
